The Chalk Talks help when I am looking on how to handle different formations, plays. etc. The Defensive Play Caller System helped me better make calls and when those calls need to be made. I love the philosophy of your systems (especially 4-2-5). Simple concept with lots of small levers to pull based on opponent, my personnel and whatever we might see as issues. DETAILED AND THOROUGH
I was lucky to find your website, because it was the first place I came across that had detailed and thorough systems at a fair cost, and that all tied in together. I loved the individual position drills that helped hammer home the idea of coaching what shows up on the field and not doing fake fundamental drills. I spent 2 years as an assistant with all of the JDFB ideas in my mind, and this year was able to unleash them as a head coach at the freshmen level. I was so pleased with the results. We went 3-6, which isn't stellar, but I felt like every week we were playing sound football and we got better as the season went a long.

I was able to implement the 4-2-5 defense with a 5th/6th grade team. The simplicity of the defense really does make it possible to run this with younger players. The opposing coach on the best team in the league commented that he could tell our players were learning football and we were the only team in the league that made him have to adjust his offense. I’m copying the “Coach simple, play fast, win” attitude!

HELPFUL INFO
JDFB Coaching Systems helped me game plan for opposing teams. It gave me additional ideas/strategies to attack opposing offenses. Joe did an incredible job evaluating film for us.
